Inanimate Shorts is a comic Website dedicated to telling stories in Brief, self contained chunks. Because of this, you can’t necessarily stroll through the archives from start to finish, and see everything here. Instead, I have several different stories, both brief and not so brief, which you can peruse at your own pace. In addition, I have fresh journal comics that update as they happen. Be sure to check back regularly, or add us to your RSS Reader to be informed of updates.

Matt Knieling is a freelance Artist and Comic Illustrator.
Raised on the gritty streets of Topeka, he was then
transplanted to the wild Hollers of Tennessee in his
formative years. Since then, he has pinballed about
the south and Midwest, currently residing in Cookeville, TN,
Where he spends his days as a children’s Librarian and his
nights smearing ink over any surface he can find.
